All software works well under Windows95 and 98, most also under NT
Not checked by me under Windows 3.x
The only instability on my system comes from Windows98 and ICQ

UltraEdit
The best text editor I've ever seen, hyperfast, multi-lingual spell check

Copier (free)
Scan directly to printer

Cuneiform
The best OCR, scan printed text or receive fax msgs, makes TXT, RTF, DOC...
Nearly perfect, even has spell check

GifgIfgiF
Record animated GIF's directly from screen

WDiff
The best way to compare two text files

Wilbur
Nice guy, runs around inside my computer to index all files containing readable text
Where would I be without him in my 9 giga messy disk?

MacroMania
Keyboard macro editor, more powerfull than recorders

Mijenix PowerDesk
The ultimate replacement of Windows Explorer, plus file viewer, plus archiver (zip plus many other formats) plus many more nice tools and utilities. Perfect match with:

QuickViewPlus
The ultimate file viewer

Directory Toolkit
The only way to order my chaotic harddisk and make readable backups

COA32
Drag and drop program folders to reorganise your harddisk, then run this to update the new path in registry and ini files

RealPlayer
Needed to run RealAudio files
(see my music page)

NAD
MP3 Music player, some cool links built in

ICQ
Very popular, but also extremly buggy program for chat and other forms of web-communications
As a form of protest against the horrific absence of stability no direct hyperlink
Instead a link to my ICQ page
